METACORETECS is looking for an FPGA & RTL Design Engineer to develop custom hardware accelerators for real-time Edge AI and signal processing.
Design, simulate, and verify custom hardware acceleration blocks on cutting-edge FPGA platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Specify the hardware design flow and define the design guidelines
- Install and maintain the hardware development tools for different languages and software tool chains for different ISA (RISC-V, ARM CORTEX)
- Prototype custom hardware accelerators
- Use Vivado and Quartus tools
- Ability with communication protocols for busses and NoCs (AMBA AHB, AXI4, AXI-Stream, ACE, CHI, TileLink, WishBone)
- Set-up or implement interfaces for fast communications (PCIe/CXL/Ethernet/SPI), memory (HBM/LPDDR4/DDR5) and embedded standards (UART/SPI/CAN)
- Run hardware simulation, verification and debug
- Proven experience with FPGA/ASIC tools
- Expert HDL programming skills
- Degree in Electrical/Computer/Embedded Systems Engineering
- Knowledge of resource-constrained hardware
- Timing closure for PCIe Gen 5/6 or 100G Ethernet systems
- Coding in HDL (Hardware Description Languages): VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog
- Coding in HCL (Hardware Construction Languages): Chisel/SpinalHDL

METACORETECS is hiring an IC Architecture & Processor Design Engineer to define next-generation semiconductor technologies from silicon to application.
Validate and optimize a set of processor core architectures, as well as support hardware-software co-designs for next-gen smart hardware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect modern processor core platforms, focusing on RISC-V and other leading instruction set architectures (ISAs)
- Profile microarchitecture performance
- Optimize hardware power consumption
- Translate technical constraints into silicon
- Conduct hardware-software co-design
- 5+ years of proven experience in IC design or microarchitecture development
- Deep knowledge of RISC-V and other modern Instruction Set Architectures
- Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
- Ability with communication protocols for busses and NoCs (AMBA AHB, AXI4, AXI-Stream, ACE, CHI, TileLink, WishBone)
- Proficiency in C/C++ bare-metal
- Skills in next-generation hardware description languages (Chisel or SpinalHDL)
